Stainless Steel 17-4 PH
17-4 PH is a martensitic precipitation-hardening stainless steel that provides an outstanding combination of high strength, good corrosion resistance, and good mechanical properties at temperatures up to 316°C (600°F).
It withstands corrosive attack better than any standard hardenable stainless steels and is comparable to AISI 304. 17-4 PH Stainless Steel is a versatile material widely used in the aerospace, chemical, petrochemical, food processing, paper and general metalworking industries. It’s used to manufacture engine parts, plastic moulding dies, valves and gears, food processing machinery parts, silencers, gate valves, aircraft structures, paper mill equipment, chemical processing equipment, pump shafts, gears, plungers, balls, bushings, fasteners. Parts can be machined, welded, shot-peened, polished and coated.
